I became a Christian much later in life. I was in complete control, I thought. Then my mom passed away. I could not accept the loneliness and hurt of losing my best friend. I asked the lord for help. Now four years later, my soul still says yes.

Evergreen has helped me flourish over these four years. I have joined the Mass choir and senior choir. I attend Bible Study and Prayer service. I attend church on Sunday mornings and different events, donating to different causes, and paying my tithes faithfully.

Thank you lord for your Goodness, Grace and Mercy.

My life has been forever changed for the better since accepting God and joining the Evergreen Baptist church. The Church has blessed me in many ways, and given me opportunities to help and encourage others. 

I am the vice president of the youth ushers, helping to teach the next generation how to serve in Gods house. I am also part of the sound ministry. I help to run the live streaming for those who can’t make it to church! 

When we thank God for our pastor, we must thank God for two. For when he sent our pastor, he really sent us two (Reverend Dr Guy Campbell Jr and Deaconess Dr Dorothy Campbell). Pastor Campbell loves the Lord and is a servant of Christ. Through prayer and constant study of the scripture, Pastor Campbell nourishes the spiritual life of the Evergreen Baptist Church congregation. Both Pastor and the First Lady provide (lovingly) spiritual care, guidance and comfort to church members during crises or trials.
Pastor Cambell, has many disciples. He has taught, trained and guided his disciples in the Word and the love of Jesus Christ their Lord.
God has Blessed Evergreen, in Jesus Christ name, with loving leaders who have been excellent examples of Christian leaders.
Evergreen Baptist Church has been a blessing to me. Evergreen is a Christian beacon in the Palmyra New Jersey community because of its’ faithful Christian leaders.
 Evergreen is a Christian Church that proclaims the Bible in worship services. It teaches the love of Jesus Christ, and Christian theology to encourage, convict, and instruct believers.
 It is a loving place of Christian fellowship and community. Evergreen’s fellowship includes the observance of God’s ordinances for the church. These are communion (the Lord’s Supper) and believers’ baptism (Act 2:38).
While we’re a small church, many of the church members volunteer to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ outside of the church setting. They volunteer in the community, and serve their neighbors both here and abroad.
Evergreens’ church music is often based on older hymns that sing of “Gods’ truth” and enhance doctrines of faith. It is written that “Faith cometh by hearing” (Rom. 10:14).
Sprinkled in are newer songs. They tend to be uplifting and encouraging. The church chorus has a mix of new and old songs.
I have been a member of Evergreen Baptist Church for over fifty years. It has been a blessing to me and my family.
